A Trip to a Tiny House Essay
A Lesson To Remember
During one of our English classes, I was given an opportunity to go along with my other classmates and visit the Emerson Umbrella. The purpose of this trip was to study the design and uses of tiny houses and to hopefully learn some new lessons. What was located at the Emerson Umbrella was a Tiny House exhibit which was made by a young lady named Miranda. When we first arrived at the Umbrella however, no one was there to greet us. While Mr.Fitzsimmons went to retrieve Miranda, everyone else was practically running around. The first thing that arrived everyone's mind however, was to check out the nearby tiny houses. When I first entered the small space of the houses, the first thing I though was how can someone live in a place like this? I then realized that living in such houses is harder than I though. When Fitz finally came back with Miranda, we all started to walk towards the building. When I first arrived at the exhibit I was amazed at the site. Every single inch, was covered by either a model of a tiny house or photos of beautiful interiors. After Miranda had told us about her story and why she works at tiny house companies, we were all given the chance to enter one which she was currently building. This experience was overall a 10-10 because it gave me the opportunity to learn more about the subject and to learn about living simply.
