Man I Love Anime
People always ask me, "Why do you watch anime so much?" My answer to them, "Because it's the best thing ever." I first started watching anime when I was about five years old. When I was a little kid, I usually had nothing to do when I wasn't at school so I would mostly just watch tv. One day however, I was watching Cartoon Network and the show that was currently on was Pokemon, which is an anime. Over the years, I've been taught many lessons just by watching multiple types of anime.
One of the main lessons that I have learned just by watching various type of anime series was that you don't have to be related to be a family. I have learned that you don't have to be born from the same parents to be brothers or sisters. Some families can be formed by the friendship between two or more characters. An example of this is in a show called "Fairy Tail". Fairy Tail is a show which resolves around the life of Five teenage "Wizards" who are in the same guild. With every adventure the five Wizards go through with each other, with every hardship they face, these groups of friends have never turned their backs on one another. Their friendships at one points turns into a bond which is stronger than the bonds that a family can ever create.
Another show which has taught me this lesson is called "Katekyo Hitman Reborn". In the beginning of the show, the 7 main characters had never really talked to eachother, nonetheless were even friends. However due to certain circumstances, they had to fight along side each other, with each battle bringing them closer together than ever before. Just like Fairy Tail, these groups of friends , due to the bonds created by fighting alongside each other for so long, have become a second family to one another.
Overall, watching anime has become one of my favorite things to do. Some people watch anime as a hobby, others as a lifestyle. I watch anime as if it was another class in school. The stories in some animes can be richer than anything life has ever thrown at me and I hope that you will one day feel that way too.
